The Aravali Biodiversity Park (ABDP) is a celebration of the diverse flora and fauna native to the Aravalli Range. It is the culmination of the joint efforts of the citizens, MCG, schools and corporates to revive a native forest in their city space.
Once a mining site, this land was left wasted and scarred after mindless quarrying. This meant a massive loss of habitat for the native plant and animal species of the country’s oldest mountain range. As their numbers were dwindling, the concerned residents of Gurgaon geared up to reclaim their forest.
Working with the government and corporates of Gurgaon, iamgurgaon established the largest public private partnership to rehabilitate 350 acres of land owned by the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon, which today is the Aravali Biodiversity Park
